Fish Farm

VHFood operates two large-scale pangasius farms located along the Tien River, covering a total area of 50 hectares and certified under Global G.A.P and ASC standards. These certifications guarantee that every farming activity — from fingerling selection, water quality management, and feed formulation to harvest — adheres to strict environmental and food safety requirements. The river’s clean and steady current, together with the nutrient-rich alluvial soil of the Mekong Delta, provides the ideal natural conditions for raising healthy, fast-growing pangasius.

Each farm is designed with a closed-loop water treatment system, including settling ponds, biological filtration ponds, and effluent discharge control areas, ensuring that all farming activities are environmentally sustainable. VHFood’s aquaculture specialists continuously monitor dissolved oxygen levels, pH, temperature, and microbial balance to maintain an optimal habitat and minimize stress for the fish.

In addition to pangasius farming, VHFood also manages tilapia farming ponds located in the same Mekong Delta region. These ponds are maintained with controlled aeration systems and natural feed programs using locally sourced ingredients. Tilapia from VHFood farms are known for their firm, white flesh and mild flavor, suitable for a wide range of culinary applications.

By supplying 70–80% of its raw materials from its own farms and partnering with a network of local aquaculture cooperatives, VHFood ensures full traceability and quality consistency throughout its supply chain. Every harvest is carefully selected, iced, and transported directly to the company’s processing plant, where the fish are filleted and frozen within hours — preserving freshness, texture, and nutritional value.

This integrated farming-to-processing model enables VHFood to deliver safe, sustainable, and antibiotic-free pangasius and tilapia products that meet the highest expectations of global customers.
